T.H.V. is the next mutation strain of two-piece band coming out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Band members (pictured left to right) Evan Follmar and Ed Stanley deliver T.H.V. with complex melodies over layers of syncopated riffs and grooves in a tightly wrapped shipment of songs that give listeners much more to unpack upon hearing.

Evan Follmar is known for his session work drumming in studio as well as live performance with The Dead Shepherds, MOLLY, The People's Abstract, Austin Ruhstorfer, and has shared the stage with artists such as Thundercat, Marco Benevento, and Charlie Hunter. Follmar expands on his playing style in T.H.V. by utilizing a custom multi-instrumental arrangement that gives Follmar access to hold down both drum beats and basslines by himself, which is then coupled with the in-your-face riff stylings of Ed Stanley (founding member of Earth Snake, local tourist) on electric guitar. It all comes together when both Follmar and Stanley layer their vocals in ways that lead fans to imagine β€œif DEVO and System Of A Down had a music baby” or β€œif Zappa shook hands with Clowncore in Peewee’s Playhouse”.
